Kathy lives and works as an artist in Victoria’s Macedon ranges. In this setting, her work has been heavily influenced by the local landscape and the plants and animals that inhabit it. Her preferred subject matter has always been and continues to be animals. She hopes to inspire others to take the time to look around to see these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat and to hopefully help protect them and the environment for many future generations.
Kathy is also highly sort after to produce commission paintings for clients, this is where she shows her ability in being able to interpret and produce all manner of subjects to a high standard.
Kathy is a qualified Applied and Finished Artist. Now working as an established artist and a tutor to children, she constructs realistic wildlife paintings, drawings and sculpture that have received numerous awards and commendations and have been sold both locally and internationally. Mostly working in Acrylics and watercolour, but using a variety of techniques and mediums that she feels would best portray the subject that she is painting or sculpting.
In 2016 Kathy was part of a selected group of top Acrylic artists to have a painting published in America in a book called Best of Acrylic Work’s Celebrating texture, published in May 2016.
